Trina Denner has recently completed her MA in Writing at Swinburne University of Technology and is now getting down to the serious business of churning out some quality writing. She is a secondary school English and history teacher but has currently suspended her career in education to focus on writing fiction.

Her enthusiasm for both literature and adolescents, and a bent towards somewhat irreverent humour, has left her little choice but to pursue the fast-paced world of young adult fiction. Aside from a concern regarding current literacy levels in adolescents, her real focus is getting inside the barricade of ‘the teenager’ in order to present them with even a smidgen of hope for the future.
